We are in need of several actors to participate in a shoot for various animation segments to be included in the film, Facing Sudan.

There are many stories for which we have no footage and we are going to produce animated segments to help enhance the stories from Sudan.

Actors will be filmed in front of a green-screen. Then, once the footage is in the computer, the green background will be removed and replaced with a scene from the film. In adition, the footage will then be converted to animation.

Most of the actors will be portraying Sudanese villagers or soldiers. The actors need to appear fit, since most of the people in South Sudan are tall and slender. There is no dialogue, but a lot of action. Actors will be filmed doing a variety of different things: running from soldiers and gunfire, playing in a village, walking, swimming, etc.

We need the following:

Shooting will be in Cary, on Sunday, August 13 between the hours of 9 and 5 by appointment.

Beverages and lunch will be provided.

All children must be accompanied by parents.

Participation will not only help raise awareness about an important global issue, but the actors will also have their names in the credits and will recieve a copy of the film once it is released on dvd. In addition, there will be a small stipend for your participation.
