Make a tax deductible donation online!
Making films is an expensive endeavor. It will cost between $25,000-$60,000 to produce Facing Sudan. Although we have all the equipment needed to produce the film, the main costs will come from the following items:
We are not out to make a profit on this film. We merely want to produce a quality film that will help raise awareness of the issue. We want to produce something that can be shown in schools and be used by aid organization as well. We want as many people as possible to see our film and be motivated to do something about the situation in Sudan. If you would like a copy of the budget (in .pdf format), please download it here.
This film has been accepted by The International Documentary Association (IDA) for "fiscal sponsorship." IDA, a non-profit organization, can accept donations on behalf of the producer of Facing Sudan. Therefore, all donations to Facing Sudan are considered charitable donations and are fully tax deductible. All donors will receive a receipt from Bell, Book & Camera Productions indicating the donation and amount. Anyone donating over $250 will also receive a receipt from The International Documentary Association. In addition, all donors will be listed in the credits of the film and anyone donating $100 or more will also receive a complimentary copy of the film on dvd once it is released. There are two ways you can donate to the making of the film:
2. Download a donation pledge sheet. Return the sheet with a check made out to The International Documentary Association, or IDA. Make sure that you place the name of the film (Facing Sudan) in the memo line. If you have any questions, please email them to donations@bellbookcamera.com. Download a donation pledge sheet here or simply send the check to: Bell, Book & Camera Productions Thank you for considering a donation to the film. Together we can work to not only raise awareness about this important issue, but hopefully raise enough voices to end these atrocities.
